Military Nursing Service is an examination for female candidates willing to join the Indian Armed Forces. This is an excellent opportunity for girls wanting to join the Indian military and serve as nursing officers. Military Nursing Service is a short service commission that serves for at least 5 years. According to the service and the interest and service of the candidate, service is extendable to a total tenure of 14 years (5+5+4).
The MNS examination has three tiers, namely- (a) a Written Test, (B) an Interview, and (C) Medical Exam.
In MNS, two preliminary medical examinations are done, i.e., X-RAY examination of the chest and USG (Ultra Sonography of the abdomen).
